Is one of the studios for teaching the Oriental and Egyptian folklore dance. Hoda Ibrahim started AL MANAR at the year 1991 in HURGHADA, the capital of the Red Sea in Egypt. She giving course for beginners and advanced explaining the meaning of the dance and clothes even the music through our culture.The idea came to us after a lot of dancers and tourists asked about why we haven't studio in Hurghada for teaching this kind of dance? Also there are a lot of points not real clear for the European dancers which they dance the Oriental and Egyptian dance. 

The way of dance in Egypt always under the tradition so you have to know this point from the beginning. There are a lot people said that the Oriental dance is not a part of the Egyptian folklore but if you look to the history you'll find it inside the Egyptian folklore and if you want to do it right, you have to understand a lot of movements and  elements from the Egyptian folklore. Now we have the fantasy of dance so you can put your imagination inside your choreograph but under the rule of the Egyptian folklore, that is if you want to dance right. Then you have to know which story you want to say. Don't forget that the story you want to say is in the present, not in the past or in the future ... But how? That is the point we'll teach you...
